There were two other teams in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Skorpions and Jeddah. Once I had made a website for Khobar Quins I typically started pestering the other two teams – to no avail. However, a very long and drawn out pestering later …. the new guy at Jeddah folded and gave me a chance, the result was a great looking website with a new ‘polished’ badge.

They formed from formed from the merger of players from Al-Khobar Eagles and Khamis Mushayt Quins in 2007, the year I arrived in Saudi Arabia with my family having played no rugby for 8 years.
